a guide to.Pam and Michael
Currently we are living in Japan. We are calling Nagoya, specifically Meito-ku, home for 2 years. We are here while Pam completes her inter-company assignment at Toyota Motor Corporation, where she is working in human resources. The plan is that we go home in July 2008.
>Michael is working from home (in Japan) for his Australian employer, the National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU). He is kept company during the day by our dog Parker.
Parker is a 13 year old German Shepard. We adopted him from a dog shelter as a 6 week old puppy. He endured a 20hr flight to join us in Japan, with no ill-effects. He seems to be enjoying his time in Japan so far. His favourite pasttimes are sleeping, eating, playing with his toys and watching the neighbours' dogs barking. He has worked out where the airconditioners are in the house and is very quick to let us know when he wants the temperature changed!

We have done a little travelling in the past, and Michael has been lucky enough to live overseas (Peru) as an exchange student. However, living and working in another country is a completely different experience.
Although we have been lucky enough to have seen vastly different parts of the world, if we had to pick our favourite place it would have to be Paris. Who can go past the city scape, museums, galleries and restaurants?
