Nagoya.Weather
The weather in Nagoya has been different to Melbourne. I have gathered the data below from weatherbase and from Japan Meteorological Agency. Because Melbourne and Nagoya are in different hemispheres I have created the graphs to compare the seasons rather than the just months as it gives a clearer picture of the contrast.
Average Temperature
The average temperature in Nagoya peaks hotter in summer and is colder in winter. The main difference in summer is that it does not get cool at night in Nagoya. If you look at the average low temperature graph you can see the contrast.
Nagoya is slighly warmer in summer compared to Melbourne
(comment after surviving summer - summer is hot and muggy especially in the evenings)

The average low temperature is the key difference between the cities.Melbourne is pretty stable, where Nagoya stays hot or stays cold.
Rainfall
Melbourne gets less days when it rains and it gets less rain when the rain falls. Nagoya would have even more, but it regularly snows rather than rains in winter.(after 2 months of winter - not really much snow in Nagoya, but it is cold, mainly because of the thin walls of the houses and very little insulation)

Rains more often in Nagoya than it does in Melbourne.

Less rain in Winter
