Chez Kobe



Chez Kobe is a French restaurant in Nagoya near Jan's place. We had two birthdays to celebrate so took the opportunity to try out their desustation menu.

Near the end of the evening the staff asked us to help sing happy birthday to someone at the next table. We had so much fun, and some quick organisationthen got the same treatment for our table. The lights went down and everyone came out of the kitchen to sing happy birthday to Pam

But then a mystery present arrived for Peter. Quite a shock for the table


But who was it from


And the big reveal was..... the hairdressers. Pam and I had been their that afternoon and had been chatting about what we had been doing. They had taken note that we were going to celebrate Peters' birthday that night, and had organised the present for Peter





Oh..When we left the restaurant we forgot the cake, so we rang Jan and sent him back to get it. But when he got it home, we had picked up the wrong one.
